WebThough judging from this video, it doesn't seem like the fox ran away specifically from the man with the stick. Just before he approaches the woman manages to get a hard kick at it's head/neck, which stuns it off it's feet for a second. That kick probably activated what little preservation the fox had left back into it and made it run away.
